Event Details

NDWA, Caring Across Generations, Hand in Hand and the Care Can’t Wait coalition worked with artist Paola Mendoza to produce the “Communities of Care” art installation. Running from July 13th-17th at Freedom Plaza in Washington DC, this installation, created on a map of the United States, will transport the audience into the reality of care that takes place in our homes and communities, showcasing the beauty of that care while also portraying its challenges, and making a case for investment in a robust care infrastructure that can support home- and community-based care for all.
