Do you have a donor advised fund (DAF)?

If so, we have an incredible opportunity for your donations to NDWA to have an even bigger impact through the #HalfMyDAF movement.

Over $229 billion sits in Donor Advised Funds across the country. The goal of the #HalfMyDAF challenge is to incentivize donors to put more of their dollars to work now and abate social inequities. If you are a DAF holder and commit to spending down half of the money that was in your DAF on March 1st by September 27, 2024, all the grants you make are eligible for a match from #HalfMyDAF.

Your money could go even further, as each grant to NDWA increases our chances of receiving a dollar-for-dollar match of up to $10,000 each.

All grants made between June 29 through September 27 will be eligible for the second #HalfMyDAF round of matching grants — with one lucky nonprofit receiving a match of $25,000 for that round. The more donors who commit to #HalfMyDAF and give to NDWA, the greater our chances of receiving a match.

Since we focus on racial equity and strengthening our democracy through our civic engagement outreach, our chances for receiving a matching grant are even greater!
